Bibi Dong raised an eyebrow slightly, walked to the throne, and sat down. Her posture was as composed as if she had come for a tea gathering arranged long ago.
"Oh? What matter was important enough for the Grand Worshipper to make the trip himself?"
"Northern Frontier."
Qian Daoliu spoke those two words, his gaze fixed on Bibi Dong's face. "You intend to deploy troops against the Northern Frontier."
It was not a question, but a statement.
Bibi Dong picked up the teacup from the table beside the throne and took an unhurried sip. "The Grand Worshipper's intelligence is quite well-informed. That's right. Three legions are already on the way."
Qian Daoliu slowly furrowed his brow. "Why attack the Northern Frontier first?"
"Pick the softest persimmon." Bibi Dong set down her teacup, her tone as flat as if she were saying one plus one equaled two. "Surely the Grand Worshipper understands that much?"
Qian Daoliu did not reply. He was waiting for Bibi Dong to continue. Sure enough, she leaned back against the throne, folded her hands over her knees, and began listing the reasons one by one.
