Zhu Zhuqing's brows twitched slightly. She placed the notice back on the table. "An examiner? How did I get picked?"
"Random selection." Ning Rongrong sat down across from her.
"That's how examiner assignments for teacher certification interviews have always been handled. Before each interview, personnel are transferred from various government agencies, given centralized training, and then assigned to their posts. When the list came down this time, I saw your name on it, so I brought the notice over for you."
Zhu Zhuqing fell silent for a moment, as if digesting the sudden arrangement. Then she picked up the notice again and checked the time and location. "Seven days of closed training. That's not too long."
"It isn't, but you can't leave during the training, and all communications will be managed centrally." Ning Rongrong leaned back in her chair. "Madam Eva takes teacher selection very seriously. During training, none of the examiners are allowed to contact the outside world, to prevent the exam questions from leaking."
Ning Rongrong continued, "Madam Eva has said that education is the highest priority and must begin with children. The selection of teachers directly determines the direction and outcome of education."
Zhu Zhuqing's gaze shifted slightly at that. She knew Ning Rongrong was telling the truth. After the continent was unified, education had seen the strongest reforms and widest coverage among the series of policies Eva had promoted.
From district-based enrollment to compulsory education, from teacher qualification certification to standardized curricula, every step had a clear timetable and implementation standard. Unlike other fields, local areas were not allowed to adjust the pace as they pleased.
"Then I'll have to put aside the roster verification work for those Awakening Bureaus these seven days." Zhu Zhuqing folded the notice and placed it into her Storage Soul Tool.
