Ever since the Uninhabited Island Exam, Shiranami Chihiro had been especially clingy with Ichinose, making no attempt to hide her possessiveness toward her. That was why she had come to the fortune teller alone to ask about the future of their friendship.

"The Student Council President isn't asleep yet, right?"
"Obviously. Could I answer if I were asleep? You called specifically to apologize, didn't you?"
Horikita Manabu assumed Ryuuen was calling to apologize for taking his Fried Cold Noodles and leaving him hungry. But thinking about it, Ryuuen was hardly someone who apologized so easily.
"Apologize? For what?"
"Then I'm hanging up."
Although Horikita Manabu said he was hanging up, he did not actually end the call.
