Naruto and Sasuke Uchiha had swapped bodies through their souls!
For ease of narration, Naruto would still be called Naruto, and Sasuke would still be called Sasuke.
Naruto said, "W-what's going on? Why did my chakra suddenly get weaker? And I can't sense my 'Ten Treasures' anymore!"
Sasuke said, "You idiot! Haven't you noticed yet? We've swapped bodies!"
"What did you say?!"
Naruto looked himself up and down, still unable to believe it. He hurriedly drew the Demon Blade Murasame he carried and looked into its mirror-bright blade. Sasuke's stunned face stared back at him, finally convincing him!
"How did he do this??"
Sasuke analyzed carefully, "That golden barrier that flashed just now covered my Amenotejikara Realm. That birdman kept calling it the true 'Amenotejikara Realm.' There's no mistake-that was a Shikigami's power!!!"
Naruto gasped, "A Shikigami's power?? A Shikigami for the Amenotejikara Realm??"
Sasuke said gravely, "No. The Amenotejikara Realm is an ocular power you can only use if you possess both 'Amenotejikara' and 'Amanosakahoko.' If he can produce this effect with it, I'm afraid he has both of those Shikigami!!!"
Naruto paled. "Hey, hey, hey! Even that jutsu that directly 'swaps injuries' has a Shikigami??"
Sasuke's expression was grim. "Listen, Naruto. The only way to defeat him is to seal him. Don't let him take any damage!! Otherwise, the consequences could be unpredictable!"

Garuda watched the two below, their souls exchanged, and thought, Those two seem to have figured out the situation quickly. But that's fine. I swapped their souls to keep them from coordinating effectively. After all, they have the Shikigami of Taketamayorihime-no-Mikoto and Izanagi-no-Mikoto respectively, both of which give them considerable room to maneuver.
