The Blood Butterfly of the Gate of Death folded its wings. The returning blood energy restored Might Guy's severed right arm and grievously wounded chest!
Opening, Rest, Life, Pain, Limit, View, Wonder, Death-the locations corresponding to the body's Eight Gates manifested as crimson flares on his skin. A red line originating at the Gate of Opening linked them in sequence, ending at the Gate of Death!

Where his heart had been, the Gate of Death collapsed into a black point of light. After swiftly draining all the blood from his body, it spun into a galaxy-shaped vortex!
This was the Heaven Gate, the gate through which one borrowed power from heaven!
For a brief time, heaven made up for one's deficiencies, bringing an individual to their "limit." This limit varied from person to person: the strong had their limits, and the mediocre had theirs.
Depending on one's talent, reaching it unaided might take thousands of years, tens of thousands, or even longer!
