Background

Song Xi was Senior Class Eight’s martial-arts class representative and one of the year’s leading students. During the school’s physical evaluation, she ran at 19.5 m/s and struck with 410 kg of force, earning Li Qingshan’s assessment that she was assured admission to a key martial arts university. She nevertheless resented his belief that Jiang Yuan, rather than herself, had a chance of reaching New Star. 2 3

After Jiang Yuan’s sudden improvement, Song Xi reported his changed performance to the Song Household and secured an experimental miniature exoskeleton for the school’s practical assessment.
