Chapter Ninety-Nine
A small spacecraft was about the size of an ordinary apartment.
It had a cockpit, kitchen, front-cabin seats, meeting room, bathroom, and a separate suite.
When Yan Beiyou pulled Ye Nanxun aboard, he glanced toward the cockpit.
He squeezed Ye Nanxun's palm, warmed by his hand. "My secretary is inside."
The moment he learned Ye Nanxun no longer had a place to nap at noon, Yan Beiyou had Mo Ning fly the spacecraft over. It had taken only a few minutes.
The cockpit door was closed, and the person inside did not come out.
They were no longer strangers who knew nothing about each other. Ye Nanxun could more or less guess that this had been Yan Beiyou's arrangement, and he knew why the alpha had done it.
He had never said that he was somewhat socially anxious and disliked dealing with people, yet Yan Beiyou had noticed. In daily life, he considered Ye Nanxun's personality in every thoughtful detail.
Everything came naturally, like a silent spring rain, never making anyone feel pressured.
Ye Nanxun had not met many people, but he knew that not everyone could be like Yan Beiyou.
Even those with the intention might not have the ability.
"I'll go say hello," Ye Nanxun said.
They held hands, their arms brushing together, their palms warm from each other's body heat.
Though they had never explicitly spoken of being in a relationship, the two hearts beneath their skin had long since stuck close together, tender and ambiguous.
Sooner or later, Yan Beiyou would have to meet Ye Nanxun's family.
Ye Nanxun would also have to meet Yan Beiyou's friends. He had prepared himself for it, and at this moment, he did not resist greeting Yan Beiyou's secretary.
"Later," Yan Beiyou said. "After you've taken your nap."
