Danzo had been calmly waiting for everything to end when a tremor suddenly ran through the entire Root base.

The relentless sounds of impact filled Danzo with suspicion. His Root base was hidden underground, and only Root members knew of it. There should have been no possibility of it being discovered.
Unfortunately, he was proven wrong the very next second!
A Root ninja rushed in frantically and hurriedly reported what had just happened:
"Lord Danzo! Uchiha Yuu has broken in!"

Uchiha Yuu's icy gaze fell upon the steel plate. Under the force of his repeated punches, the metal warped. In the end, the iron door could no longer withstand the blows and split down the middle, revealing a group of ninjas behind the gap.

The reason he had kept pounding on the iron door was to make enough noise for those inside to realize their base was under attack, prompting them to gather near Root's entrance and wait for his arrival.
