Orochimaru felt this was a broad and promising path. As long as they followed it, they could solve many problems.
"The artificial human concept does have its merits. However, although they have been created, they are ultimately soulless shells. We still need to shape their personalities anew. After all, every artificial human carries the risk of developing rebellious thoughts."
Uchiha Yuu voiced his concerns. With his vast resources, he could mass-produce artificial humans to prepare for the coming war. Yet he also harbored a fear: he could not allow artificial humans to possess minds of their own. What he needed was a weapon, not a dangerous object that could rebel at any moment.
After all, Uchiha Yuu had looked into these artificial humans before. Ōnoki had created a batch using clay. They had initially been obedient enough, but under outside influences, unavoidable negative developments had emerged.
