The Netherworld?
A name both familiar and strange.
Everyone who had taken part in the Fourth Shinobi World War knew just how terrifying the creatures that emerged from the Netherworld were. Even the weapons created by Orochimaru had caused the ninja endless suffering.
As for why it was unfamiliar, none of them had ever visited the Netherworld. Even Uchiha Yuu had merely observed the outer region of the passageway, yet he had seen countless powerful creatures. Those creatures possessed vigorous energy within their bodies that could replace chakra.
"This won't be easy."
Mei Terumi's tone held a trace of hesitation. Invading an entire world was not something that could be settled with a few words. They might very well have to stake everything on it.
If they failed to take the Netherworld, it would become an incomparably troublesome situation for everyone present. They would be caught between a wolf in front and a tiger behind.
"Of course I know it won't be easy."
Standing among the crowd, Uchiha Yuu's eyes revealed resolve and killing intent. He knew none of the ninja present were cowards, but rashly starting a war was still a heavy burden for many. His next words made everyone's hearts sink.
"But we have no other choice. Either we successfully invade, or we die in the clash between the two!"
Now was the time to choose their fate. If they retreated out of fear, they might never have another chance.
"War truly is something people hate."
Mei Terumi sighed softly. At this point, there was no choice left but to rise up and resist.
"Prepare yourselves for the war ahead. We will use the strength of the entire Shinobi World to nurture a group of true powerhouses. The wheels of war will never stop. They will keep rolling
