Setting down the documents in his hand, Uchiha Yuu strode to the portal. Feeling waves of pressure emanating from beyond it, he looked at the two beside him and said,
"The operation ahead will be extremely dangerous. Remember, preserving your own lives is the priority. If you encounter an enemy you cannot resist, return to the portal immediately. Teacher Orochimaru will receive you here."
The investigation plan was divided into two parts. The three entering the Netherworld would conduct the investigation, while Orochimaru, remaining in the laboratory, would keep the portal open and bring them back.
When purple light appeared before them, Uchiha Yuu was the first to stride through. Minato Namikaze and Obito Uchiha followed after him.
The interior of the portal passage was a kaleidoscope of bizarre sights, roughly the same as what they had seen before.
"We are separated from the Netherworld by only one spatial barrier. Passing through here will take us directly to the Netherworld."
Uchiha Yuu had already activated his Mangekyō Sharingan, pushing himself to peak condition.
"What an incredible thing."
As their first time entering a spatial passage, the other two stared around in amazement, bewildered by the scene before them.

Thinking of Minato Namikaze's ability, Obito Uchiha voiced his idea.
Hearing Obito's suggestion, Minato Namikaze immediately took out a Kunai. But when he tried to place a mark, he discovered that his Flying Thunder God could not leave one. It was the first time he had encountered a place that could not be marked. His expression turned grave as he shook his head.
