Two consecutive attacks left Eishiki Otsutsuki struggling to cope. Looking at the rising sun before her, she had no intention of taking the opponent's attack head-on. She immediately assumed her strongest form, opening the eye on her forehead as the oncoming Atomic Fission descended from the sky.
"Secret Art! Voidless Space!"
Layer upon layer of energy fell into it, and Eishiki Otsutsuki's folded space saved her life at the critical moment.
All of Uchiha Yuu's surging energy was folded away. The energy itself had not diminished, but the distance it had to travel was lengthened by her spatial folding. An attack that should have reached Eishiki Otsutsuki in a second now lingered in the air for several seconds.
Using those few seconds, Eishiki Otsutsuki dodged the attack. Only then did Uchiha Yuu's strike hit the ground, creating a shockwave-like area of destruction.
Looking at the lava below, Eishiki Otsutsuki saw that the entire area had been utterly devastated by the attack. The exposed rocks were covered in cracks, and the intense heat had even begun to melt the stone. Her eye twitched as she looked down, then she glared at Uchiha Yuu with an ugly expression. If that attack hit me head-on, I'd probably lose my ability to fight immediately.
"Where the hell did this monster come from?"
She had not even seen Kaguya Otsutsuki yet, and she was already in such a miserable state. On top of that, her companion's fate was still unknown. The repeated blows made Eishiki Otsutsuki feel that this mission might very well end in disaster.
"Wait!"
Floating in the air, Eishiki Otsutsuki immediately put enough distance between herself and Uchiha Yuu. She stared at him gravely and said:
