His distinctly red-and-white eyes held none of the madness one would expect. Combined with Uchiha Yuu's rational manner of speaking, it was hard to believe he had become a lunatic willing to resort to anything. Just as the thought that he might not be insane surfaced in Otsutsuki Yunshiki's mind, he immediately shook his head. His eyes gained a measure of wariness, though there was even more suspicion in them. He could not understand what had happened.
"The reason I laughed is because my talent is energy manipulation, including the impurities within energy. All the energy I obtain is the purest form of energy. The Netherworld is practically a place made for me."
Uchiha Yuu revealed a secret, one that left Otsutsuki Yunshiki stunned. If he truly could manipulate energy, then Uchiha Yuu might genuinely be able to plunder the Netherworld's energy without suffering any side effects. Wouldn't that mean he could advance by leaps and bounds every day?
Seeing that there were no traces of madness in him, along with what he had just said, Otsutsuki Yunshiki was eighty or ninety percent certain that he was a normal person. His gaze could not help but turn envious as he let out a long sigh.
"With the speed at which you are devouring energy now, you will probably surpass ordinary Otsutsuki before long. I truly envy your talent. If I had your talent, I would not have died from my bloodline withering away."
That envy came from the bottom of his heart. He did not feel much jealousy, after all, bloodlines were inherited, and with the strict hierarchy of the Otsutsuki Clan, Otsutsuki Yunshiki merely sighed in lament. He did not dare rashly offend Uchiha Yuu.
"There is one more thing. I am not a member of the Otsutsuki Clan!"
