The one who stepped through the storm was a tall, powerfully built man. An indescribable pressure radiated from him as he raised his head to stare directly at Uchiha Yuu. His unhurried demeanor spoke of absolute confidence in his own strength.
"I am one of the Otsutsuki Clan's three kings."
"Otsutsuki Energy! I am the origin of all energy. Part of the method you use to control the energy within your body was inherited from my bloodline."
Having seen through Uchiha Yuu's nature at a glance, Otsutsuki Energy did not attack immediately. He merely looked at Uchiha Yuu calmly, his tone even carrying a hint of praise as he stated with certainty:
"The chakra energy within your body is exceptionally abundant. It is a pity that you should not have touched a taboo. Otherwise, for such an outstanding junior, I would have spared your life."
Those few words sounded as though he had already passed judgment on Uchiha Yuu's overestimation of himself. He would pay the price for crossing the clan's bottom line.
"Those useless nobles you killed were, at most, high-grade livestock we kept in captivity. You could kill them, but you could not absorb them. Now that you have absorbed them all, I need to kill you and return that energy."
As long as the Otsutsuki Clan possessed sufficient chakra energy, they could attain a state of immortality.
Commoner slaves offered negligible benefits to the three kings. Only nobles could provide the corresponding energy. Every noble was a living Chakra Fruit, waiting to be harvested by the three of them. Now that someone had snatched their prize midway, he had touched their greatest taboo.
