Fugaku Uchiha stood with his hands behind his back, speaking at length with his back to Hyuga Rishu.
"A spark of shrewdness appeared in Hyuga Rishu's eyes, and he quickly agreed.
"Lord Fugaku is right. We have to launch a beautiful counterattack before sending the news back. That way, Lord Fugaku can claim credit without taking the blame."
"Hahaha... You certainly know how to talk. You're much more interesting than Hyuga Hiashi." Fugaku Uchiha let out a laugh.
Hyuga Rishu didn't dare interrupt and could only laugh along.
Fugaku Uchiha glanced sideways at him and said indifferently, "The Empire won't interfere in the matters between you two."
"However, the Empire doesn't want to see any armed conflict break out. That is something the Empire absolutely will not permit."
"Understood." Hyuga Rishu was ecstatic inside and hurriedly bowed. "This subordinate wishes to atone through meritorious service. I am willing to give my life for the Empire."
"I'll count you in for this counterattack." Fugaku Uchiha had intended to make use of the Byakugan anyway. Since the other party had volunteered, he was happy to accept.

"This is a list of the Hyuga Clan's members, along with the industries we own in this world. We are willing to hand them over to the Empire and do our part for it."
Fugaku Uchiha turned around and lowered his head to look at the document in his hands. "Is this really necessary?"
