Thundercloud City fell, with several miles of its southern wall completely destroyed!
According to survivors who escaped, the force that breached the city had been an irresistible power of the gods!
Outside Thundercloud City, the first Uchiha Cannon, after a brief charge, began to display streaks of purple patterns across its body. The barrel's temperature visibly rose, and the few people standing nearby could clearly feel waves of heat washing over them.
Izuna stood tall, curiosity still in his eyes as he repeatedly glanced between the cannon and the city walls, wanting to see whether this strange weapon truly possessed such tremendous power.
"Prepare!"
Once Enkō saw that the Uchiha Cannon had fully charged, he checked to make sure its aim was true. He then gestured for the onlookers around him to step back before raising a hand and pointing forward!
"Fire!"
Whoosh—
With a muffled sound that was not particularly loud, the entire Uchiha Cannon jolted backward, and a somewhat dazzling purple bolt of lightning poured from its muzzle!
The Uchiha Cannon did not use conventional shells, but the immense chakra from the Dragon Vein. Thus, what it fired was naturally chakra. Put simply, it was a laser cannon!
Like a soaring dragon emerging from the sea, the purple laser crossed several miles in an instant and struck Thundercloud City's defensive barrier. Like a hot knife through butter, it met not the slightest resistance. The entire barrier shattered in an instant before the beam plunged straight into the city wall!
There was no sound at all. The laser effortlessly pierced through the wall, like an eraser casually wiping away every trace in its path. Only when its remaining power struck a distant mountaintop did a world-shaking explosion finally ring out!
