Chen Zui stood silently at the very front with his sword in hand. He was badly injured too, yet he still spoke. "He's very strange right now, but it doesn't feel like he's about to die."
"Then what is it?"
Chen Zui shook his head. "I don't know. If my mother were here, she might be able to tell."
That was a case of distant water failing to quench immediate thirst. Wen Xu lowered his eyes to Wen Zhiyi, whose face was growing paler and paler on the ground, and could not help reaching out to search for that thread of Golden Light. Yet strangely, after searching all around, he found no trace of it.
What was going on? Had it vanished? Or had it gone elsewhere?
He searched again with painstaking care. The Golden Light truly was gone. That was very strange. Thus, without hesitation, Wen Xu sent another thread into Wen Zhiyi's body. The moment it entered, it swiftly began to wander. His spiritual power followed its movements, and soon he saw it enter three inches into the Spirit Platform.
Then that thread of Golden Light vanished without a trace again.

The three immediately nodded. This time, Wen Xu attached his consciousness to the Golden Light. Once the light entered the Spirit Platform, his consciousness swiftly sank in after it. Following a stretch of murky silence, Wen Xu saw Wen Zhiyi.
Or perhaps it was not him. After all, Wen Xu could not distinguish other people's faces and could only make a rough judgment based on temperament and clothing.
