Ch. 121Tempted to Take Disciples, Conflict Begins

Xuanming and Tian Wu considered whether to take Yunxiao and Zhao Gongming as disciples, while Dijiang reflected on how their paths had changed. On Kunlun Mountain, Guangchengzi and the Chan Sect Golden Immortals brutally attacked Interception Sect disciples, who fled with their wounded.

  • Xuanming said she might take Yunxiao as a disciple if Yunxiao independently turned to the ice law and crossed its threshold.
  • Tian Wu said he would consider taking Zhao Gongming after Zhao comprehended over thirty percent of the wind law before reaching Daluo Golden Immortal.
  • Dijiang recognized Zhao Gongming and Yunxiao from the Primordial World's original course and decided to observe them without granting them special treatment.
  • Guangchengzi, Taiyi Zhenren, and Yu Ding Zhenren attacked Interception Sect disciples on Kunlun Mountain, and Yu Ding Zhenren struck the bull-horned disciple with the Immortal Slaying Sword.
  • Guangchengzi used the Sea-Covering Seal to badly injure the Interception Sect disciples, who carried off their wounded companion and retreated.

Ch. 122Backing down

After Chan Sect disciples injured and insulted the Interception Sect’s followers, Tongtian confronted Yuanshi, who defended the attack and refused to restrain his disciples. Tongtian backed down to preserve their brotherhood, while Yuanshi rewarded the Twelve Golden Immortals and urged them to keep disciplining Interception Sect disciples.

  • Wounded Interception Sect disciples told Tongtian that Guangchengzi and the others had attacked and insulted them.
  • Tongtian confronted Yuanshi at the Jade Void Palace and demanded an explanation, but Yuanshi defended the Chan Sect’s actions and disparaged Tongtian’s disciples.
  • Tongtian threatened Yuanshi with the Green Duckweed Sword, then put it away and returned to the Azure Wandering Palace without fighting.
  • Yuanshi summoned Guangchengzi and the Twelve Golden Immortals, praised their attack, and rewarded them with Acquired Spirit Treasures.
  • Yuanshi told the Twelve Golden Immortals to keep disciplining Interception Sect disciples, and Guangchengzi and Taiyi Zhenren agreed to attack them whenever they met.

Ch. 123A Mere Rat Spirit

After Taiyi Zhenren attacked the Interception Sect disciples again, Daoist Duobao went to confront him and began fighting him. Duobao gained the upper hand, but Guangchengzi and the other Chan Sect disciples prepared to join the battle.

  • Master Tongtian gave his injured disciples Nine-Turn Golden Elixir and told them not to clash with the Chan Sect again before entering secluded cultivation.
  • The horned disciple and several Interception Sect companions went to a spirit spring, where Taiyi Zhenren mocked them and attacked them with the Nine Dragon Divine Fire Cover.
  • The injured disciples found the gates of the Azure Wandering Palace closed, then appealed to Daoist Duobao for help.
  • Daoist Duobao led the disciples to confront Taiyi Zhenren and challenged him over his attacks.
  • Duobao and Taiyi fought with their treasures, and Duobao's greater cultivation gave him the advantage.
  • Guangchengzi and the other Chan Sect disciples prepared to join the fight.

Ch. 124Laozi's Fence-Sitting

Duobao fought Guangchengzi, Taiyi Zhenren, and other Chan Sect disciples after they attacked the Interception Sect, while Xingtian watched and reported the clash. Tongtian and Yuanshi nearly came to blows over the incident, and Laozi stopped them with a ruling that satisfied neither brother as Duobao gained the upper hand on the plain.

  • Xingtian saw Duobao battle Guangchengzi, Taiyi Zhenren, and other Chan Sect disciples, then sent a report to Mount Buzhou while watching the fight.
  • Duobao began to tire as the Chan Sect disciples combined their strength and treasures against him.
  • The wounded Interception Sect disciples joined the battle, and Junior Brother Niu flew to seek help at the Azure Wandering Palace.
  • Tongtian confronted Yuanshi in Taiqing Palace, accusing him of letting his disciples attack Duobao and wound the Interception Sect disciples.
  • Laozi separated Tongtian and Yuanshi, reprimanded both sides, and ordered them to end the conflict and discipline their disciples.
  • Duobao and the arriving Interception Sect disciples pushed Guangchengzi and the other Chan Sect disciples back, leaving Guangchengzi resentful.

Ch. 125The spectacle... is there any more?

Xingtian watched the Chan Sect and Jie Sect disciples clash on Kunlun Mountain, then barged through the mist into a confrontation among the Three Pure Ones. Dijiang arrived to stand beside Xingtian, and Xingtian began recounting the fight as the Three Pure Ones stayed silent.

  • Guangchengzi and Taiyi Zhenren accused Duobao of ganging up on them, enraging Duobao and the Jie Sect disciples.
  • Xingtian laughed at the Chan Sect from the clouds, but a blanket of mist covered the battlefield and blocked his view.
  • Xingtian charged into the mist and found Yuanshi Tianzun and Master Tongtian facing each other while Laozi tried to calm the conflict.
  • Yuanshi Tianzun threatened Xingtian, but Dijiang stepped through shattered space and asked whether there was any more of the spectacle.
  • Xingtian recounted to Dijiang how the Chan Sect disciples had attacked the Jie Sect and then blamed Duobao.

Ch. 126Laozi's Thunderous Words

Dijiang confronted the Three Pure Ones over their disciples’ fighting on Kunlun Mountain and ordered them to leave, giving them five years to move. Laozi denied that the clash had been anything but friendly sparring, and Xingtian mocked his shameless explanation.

  • Xingtian told Dijiang how the Chan Sect disciples had called for help and ganged up on their opponents, prompting Dijiang to ridicule Yuanshi and Tongtian’s disciples.
  • Yuanshi, Tongtian, and Laozi united against Dijiang, who declared that Kunlun Mountain was under Heavenly Court jurisdiction and accused the Three Pure Ones of letting their disciples damage it.
  • Dijiang ordered the Three Pure Ones to leave Kunlun Mountain and suggested they divide their household, but Yuanshi and Tongtian refused to accept his authority.
  • Dijiang gave the Three Pure Ones five years to move, while Laozi claimed their disciples had only been sparring in a friendly manner.
  • Xingtian laughed at Laozi’s explanation and teased Tongtian by asking whether the man before them was really his eldest brother.

Ch. 127How could Chan and Interception coexist?

Laozi, Yuanshi, and Tongtian covered up the Chan and Interception Sects’ violent clash as a sparring match, and Dijiang left Kunlun Mountain without escalating the confrontation. Back at Taiqing Palace, Laozi demanded that his brothers settle how their sects could coexist.

  • Laozi persuaded Yuanshi and Tongtian to call the Chan and Interception Sects’ fight a sparring match, and their disciples reluctantly agreed.
  • Dijiang warned the Three Pure Ones not to let their disciples damage Kunlun Mountain again, then departed with Xingtian.
  • Yuanshi ordered his disciples to return to their cave abodes and stay out of trouble, while Tongtian dismissed his disciples.
  • At Pangu Hall, Dijiang told the Ancestor Witches that the Three Pure Ones would eventually split apart, and Zhu Rong and Gonggong mocked Laozi’s excuse.
  • At Taiqing Palace, Laozi told Yuanshi and Tongtian that their conflict needed a real resolution and asked how the Chan and Interception Sects could coexist.

Ch. 128Fifty Strokes Each

Laozi mediated the dispute between Yuanshi and Tongtian over the Chan Sect’s attack on Interception Sect disciples, but his compromise left Tongtian feeling wronged. The brothers accepted his ruling and returned to discipline their disciples.

  • Tongtian demanded that Yuanshi make Guangchengzi and the other Chan Sect disciples apologize and accept the principle of teaching without discrimination.
  • Yuanshi rejected Tongtian’s demands and blamed the Interception Sect disciples for disturbing Kunlun Mountain, prompting the brothers to trade accusations.
  • Laozi separated the arguing brothers and ruled that both sects were at fault, with their offenses canceling each other out and no apology required.
  • Laozi promised Nine-Turn Golden Elixirs for the injured disciples and ordered both brothers to discipline their sects and prevent further disputes.
  • Yuanshi accepted the ruling readily, and Tongtian reluctantly agreed to preserve the brothers’ relationship; Laozi gave them the elixirs.

Ch. 129An Unconventional Path to Primordial Daluo Golden Immortality

After Laozi’s ruling deepened Tongtian’s doubts and left the Chan Sect and Jie Sect in a tense false peace, Taiyi broke through on the Sun Star. By forcibly uniting his Three Corpses with heavenly dao origin, he reached an unconventional Primordial Daluo Golden Immortal realm without becoming a Saint.

  • Yuanshi warned Tongtian to discipline his disciples, and Tongtian condemned the unfair ruling before returning to Azure Wandering Palace.
  • Tongtian gave the injured Jie Sect disciples Nine-Turn Golden Elixirs and told them to avoid Chan Sect territory, while Duobao and the others protested Laozi’s ruling.
  • Yuanshi reassured Guangchengzi and the Chan Sect disciples that Laozi understood reason, then told them to suppress Jie Sect disciples who provoked them but not to start trouble.
  • The Chan Sect and Jie Sect disciples kept apart, leaving Kunlun Mountain in a strained false peace.
  • Taiyi used the heavenly dao origin to unite his Three Corpses and reached an unconventional Primordial Daluo Golden Immortal realm on the Sun Star.

Ch. 130Fuxi's Dao

Taiyi celebrated his breakthrough into the primordial Daluo Golden Immortal realm, but Dijiang easily broke his attack and exposed the weakness of his unstable foundation. Meanwhile, Fuxi settled among the humans and began forging a path to the Dao by turning his divination insights into laws of his own.

  • Taiyi used the Chaos Bell to attack Dijiang, who shattered the sound waves with a single punch and mocked Taiyi's weakened realm.
  • Taiyi admitted defeat but resolved to stabilize his realm in seclusion, while Di Jun anticipated pursuing the same breakthrough.
  • Hongjun watched the clash and approved of Taiyi's progress, then turned his attention to Di Jun as his next candidate.
  • Fuxi entered a Human Clan settlement, lived there as an ordinary Daoist, and helped its people with their cultivation.
  • Fuxi combined his divination knowledge with insights from Kong Xuan and Six-Eared Macaque and began integrating divination principles into his body and primordial spirit.
