Personality

Wang Mo is bold, direct, and intensely protective of fellow Intercepting Sect disciples. When Wen Zhong requests aid against West Qi, he agrees without hesitation because they are fellow disciples, declaring that protecting their own comes before debating who is right. 12

Initially aggressive and eager to pursue defeated enemies, Wang Mo adapts after Lin Yuan repeatedly warns him that isolation is deadly. He learns to maintain formation, restrains himself from chasing fleeing enemies alone, and later prevents Gao Yougan from doing the same. 13 14 17

Recruitment to the Shang Campaign

Wen Zhong brings Lin Yuan to Nine-Dragon Island to seek help against West Qi. Wang Mo immediately accepts the request, leading Yang Sen, Gao Yougan, and Li Xingba to the Shang battlefield. Their first coordinated clash overwhelms West Qi's Qi Refiners and forces the enemy formation to retreat. 12

Death Calamity and Fate Reversal

West Qi repeatedly attempts to lure the Four Sages apart and eliminate them individually. Wang Mo is particularly vulnerable because of his instinct to pursue fleeing enemies, but Lin Yuan repeatedly stops him from chasing alone and insists that all four sages remain together. 13 14

When Li Xingba is later lured into a trap, Lin Yuan takes a Lock-Meridian Nail meant for him. Wang Mo arrives with Wen Zhong and the other sages to drive off the ambushers, then chooses not to pursue the fleeing enemies alone. This confirms the change in his behavior and completes the reversal of his original death trajectory. 16

Brotherhood with Lin Yuan

After surviving the campaign's death traps, Wang Mo and the other sages formally accept Lin Yuan as their brother. At the Shang camp's celebration, Wang Mo promises that anyone who harms Lin Yuan will face all four sages and gives him a high-grade acquired spirit fruit to support his cultivation. 16 19

Support Against Lu Ya's Curse

When Zhao Gongming is targeted by Lu Ya's Nail-Head Seven-Arrows Book, Wang Mo joins Wen Zhong, Lin Yuan, the Ten Heavenly Lords, and the other Nine-Dragon Island sages in tracking the curse to its hidden altar. The group exposes Lu Ya's ritual and helps contain his escape routes while Zhao Gongming destroys the altar. 36 37
