This was awkward. Going premium got stuck, and I couldn't get the update out. I'll put it up tomorrow at noon instead...
Fireworks had been an old hand at this for several years now. After stumbling and bumping along the way, I'd also written a few books that went premium.
But whenever it came time to go premium, I still felt uneasy.
Especially this time, since it had been far too long since my last book.
None of the popularity from my previous book had carried over. Fireworks was practically a newcomer setting out again.
I truly had no idea how many people would subscribe to this book.
This morning, I nervously asked the editor about it. Fifteen hundred people were following along.
I'm not asking for much. If I can get a thousand first-day subscriptions, I'll grit my teeth and work hard—at least two updates and six thousand words a day. For every additional two hundred first-day subscriptions, I'll release an extra chapter, with no upper limit!
I won't complain about hardship. We're all adults; many bitter things have to be swallowed into our stomachs. Saying them aloud would make them meaningless.
Also, thank you to Late-night Snack for all the support and guidance along the way. Thank you to every reader for your bookmarks and votes. Without all that support, Fireworks couldn't have kept writing until now.
Finally, it should go premium after midnight.
Probably around 12:10. I'll release two chapters first, then add more updates tomorrow... This premium launch came up suddenly, so I really don't have much saved up...
Lastly, please subscribe—please give it a first-day subscription!!
If you have monthly votes, please toss a few my way too!
Fireworks bows in thanks!!!
