As soon as he came around, Director Liu looked at him resentfully. All he wanted to say was, If you were on such bad terms with him, why the hell didn't you say so sooner? I did you that favor for nothing. Are you going to repay it or not? I did speak up for you, after all! But on second thought, could this guy be the reason Qin Fen had refused to participate?
Jed looked back at him, feeling utterly miserable. It's all your fault. You offended Qin Fen beyond repair. I'm going to report this to your superiors.
