Yan Bing, wearing a mask, swept his gaze across the venue. Quite a few audience members were scared witless. Some even slapped their foreheads and shouted, "Holy shit, this show is awesome! They even set up a suspense plot!"
Bang! A bullet shot into the sky, knocking down a bank of lights. After that, no one dared doubt it.
Real guns, real bullets! The audience clutched their heads, their first instinct to crouch down. The venue descended into chaos. The audience had it relatively better; the four teams standing onstage had it rough, with several automatic rifles aimed at them.
The director stood there with his mouth open, unable to speak for a long while. The executive director's expression changed repeatedly. "We're done for, we're done for!" Today had truly been one disaster after another!
"I assume none of you doubt my sincerity now, right?" Yan Bing spoke softly, but his voice carried a terrifyingly bloody aura.
The host swallowed and nodded, indicating that he understood.
Jed, standing nearby, was unwilling to accept this. He had finally waited for an opportunity to prove himself and was just about to kill Qin Fen in front of everyone. Then this mess showed up. What the hell was this supposed to be?
Qin Fen studied the masked man strangely. That build seemed oddly familiar, and the man's attention kept drifting toward him. This was an acquaintance. Xi glanced at the man, darted to Big Chef's feet, and sent a low voice directly to him. "Master, there's killing intent!"
No shit. What kind of robber had no killing intent? If you did a job, you had to love it. The guy was just being professional. Qin Fen shot Xi a disdainful look.
"That killing intent is aimed at Master!" Xi added.
Qin Fen frowned.
