Confucius's arrival caused an immediate sensation at the Heavenly Court Academy. Saint Confucius kept a low profile and had rarely shown himself since becoming a god.
After all, the Heavenly Court was not the Mortal Realm. He was a big deal down there, but not here. His strength was unremarkable; what made him formidable was his ability to anchor fortune, as the object of reverence for scholars everywhere.
As the saying went, knowledge was the ladder of human progress. Scholars were intellectuals who led the masses and taught the world. They bore the immense responsibility of passing down knowledge, and thus held the most powerful position among Yan-Huang's people.
Since this concerned the Human Tribe, Confucius was not without backing. At the very least, the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors would protect him, as they were all rulers of the Human Tribe. Lord Lao looked after him too, as the leader of the Human Tribe's faith. They all ate from the same bowl, so naturally they helped one another for their mutual benefit. Thus, although Confucius's strength fell short of a Saint's, no one dared provoke him.

Even the Jade Emperor had to show him some deference in the Heavenly Court. Yet Confucius generally remained silent. He understood his own situation. His influence was immense, but the Heavenly Dao could still get by without him. In a leader's words, someone like him was capable if they said he was, even if he wasn't; if they said he wasn't, then he wasn't, even if he was.
