The train pulled into the station. Qin Fen and the other three got off with their luggage. Big Chef took out his phone—this time, he had not grabbed the wrong one; it was his own. There was a missed call from one of Chairman Zhou's men. Qin Fen immediately called back, only to learn that the other party was stuck in traffic and would be late.
Qin Fen shrugged indifferently and led the others out through the passageway, finding a place to sit in the station outside.
The moment they sat down, Song Shaoqing wore a strange expression. Pointing at the main entrance in the distance, he said, "Qin Fen, look. There are two idiots over there. Do you think a company hired them to promote toys?"
Qin Fen looked in the direction he pointed. Female Hooligan chuckled. "Probably not. Why would toy promoters dress like that? They look like they belong to some organization. Either they're bodyguards, or something. Toy promoters should wear animal costumes, right? Or at least get a few pretty girls—they'd be better than those two!"
Qin Fen nodded. Those two were obviously foreigners. There was no way Chairman Zhou had sent them to pick them up. Communication alone would be a problem. That would make no sense.
So the four of them sat there and watched leisurely.
Time slowly passed, but the stares around them did not lessen in the slightest. Scarface could no longer endure it. No one had approached them even now. Something was wrong. Everyone around them looked as if they were staring at two morons. The pressure was fucking enormous.
But this was supposed to be the rendezvous. "Did we get the wrong duck?" Scarface asked uncertainly.
Mole deeply agreed. That had to be it. Had they brought the wrong one?
