In the Buddhist School, it meant illuminating the mind and perceiving one's true nature, possessing great wisdom and perseverance, benefiting all living beings, and earning boundless merit. Becoming a buddha or a patriarch was only a thought away.
This was a good thing. Pangu knew what he had to do and no longer had to muddle along, wasting his days. Beyond his suspicions about Qin Fen, he now felt a sense of awe. This was a terrifying figure who knew the past and future, and could even control karma.
That was right. At this moment, Pangu had attained enlightenment. This was his karma. He had been born from chaos, and chaos would end because of him. Karma came full circle, all in accordance with Heavenly Will.
