They ranged from first to seventh rank, alongside countless unranked marine creatures!
The sea beasts included Nine-Headed Sea Serpents, jade-armored rhinoceroses, Phoenix-Pattern Winged Whales, Moro Sea Sharks, golden-ring giant octopuses, Nine-Headed Sea Lions, Dragon-Scaled Sea Pythons, blue whales, killer whales, and more. Their sizes were generally measured in tens of thousands of zhang, and many were larger than the Galan Immortal Warship itself. They came in all manner of bizarre forms, with occasional sightings of smaller, low-ranking sea beasts such as sea mosquitoes, jellyfish, sea urchins, and coral polyps.
The most obvious difference between demonic beasts and sea beasts was that ordinary sea beasts were markedly larger. Ordinary demonic beasts were measured in hundreds or thousands of zhang; the difference between the two was like that between giants and ordinary people. Even smaller sea mosquitoes and sea worms were far larger than ordinary mosquitoes and worms!
A more detailed distinction was that sea beasts possessed an unmistakable primeval aura, or rather, the aura of the boundless sea, and had Sea Souls similar to primordial spirits. Demonic beasts were comparatively more intelligent, primarily
