At the main battlefield in central Hidden Dragon City, the buildings had been reduced almost entirely to rubble. Mangled corpses lay scattered everywhere, scarlet blood soaked the ground, and more than a million people had gathered in one place like a swarm of ants...
On closer inspection, the place where the dark mass of people had gathered was precisely where the Huan King was "struggling."
Clang, clang, clang...
After the rapid thunder of iron hooves came footsteps, heavy and slow, growing louder by the moment. A shadow like storm clouds pressing overhead settled over everyone's heart.
Across the vast expanse of Hidden Dragon City, nearly a hundred enormous black dots converged on the central battlefield from every direction.
After the time it took to eat a meal, the approaching dots resolved into faint patches of dark cloud, then visible black mist, and finally distinct clouds. They were Ironblood Killing Clouds, which could form only when vast numbers of regular troops gathered.
Stranger still, those distinct clouds seemed faintly to be taking the shape of an eight-trigram pattern. The spreading black mist made it hard to see clearly, as though it wrapped an enormous eight-trigram diagram!
This was the chief reason none of the Otherworlders in Hidden Dragon City could "log out." The immense army had turned the entire city into a battlefield, and no one within the reach of its Ironblood Killing Intent could log out.
A careful observer would have discovered that those enormous black dots were nearly ninety formations of ten thousand troops. Eighty of them advanced in eight groups of ten, steadily tightening their encirclement as they
