In this battle, of the more than seven thousand wealthy merchants, businesses, well-to-do households, and other large or small families possessing some assets within the city, the overwhelming majority had their homes confiscated and their families exterminated. This group accounted for merely around one percent of Lang Son Giant City's population, roughly one million people, with nearly half being servants, guards, and the like employed by wealthy merchants and businesses. Yet they possessed over ninety-five percent—perhaps even ninety-nine percent—of Lang Son Giant City's wealth: mineral veins, jewelry, valuables, shops, land deeds, and more. The disparity in wealth among Yue State's different social classes was plain to see.
In addition, roughly seven million Yue State Otherworlders had fallen. Among them were around one hundred thousand Advanced Otherworlders, at Innate Mid-Stage and below, and approximately one hundred Apex Otherworlders, at Innate Mid-Stage and above. The rest were low- and mid-tier Otherworlders. Together with transient merchant caravans, traders, peddlers, wandering heroes, righteous men, and the like, the wealth carried by this group rivaled that of Lang Son Giant City itself.
Finally, there were the nearly negligible one hundred seventy thousand or so Yue soldiers, along with close to ten million Yue civilians caught up in the flames of war.
As for Huan Kingdom, it had lost around five hundred Forbidden Guards, a dozen or so Advanced or Apex Otherworlders, nearly three hundred thousand veteran soldiers, and over four million new recruits.
This battle could be called a great victory for Huan Kingdom. Yet its generals were not particularly thrilled,
