Gazing out across the sea, they saw a vast expanse of blue, with calm winds and still waters!
Suspicious as they were, Prince Tianyao, the Azure Wave Archsage, Kadi, and the others dared not let their guard slip. They shot out of the golden palace like lightning and arrived on deck.
By now, the previously disordered formation had been reorganized, once again becoming an iron Heaven-and-Earth Net. All around it, the winds and waters remained calm.
Below, the sea was clear and blue. With everyone poised for battle and no one moving rashly, and with the sea beasts present, not even tiny fish or shrimp dared appear. Visibility was excellent, yet there was no sign of anything unusual.
The ocean was different from land. The slightest disturbance would produce warning signs, such as bubbles or ripples. Keeping watch and observing were hardly difficult!
"This... isn't this taking the joke too far?"
Having found nothing during his inspection, Grand Sage Divine Horse glanced at the Sea Witch's youthful figure, standing proudly and keeping watch as though there really were something amiss. Furious, he forced himself to hold back as he rebuked her.

Far away on the horizon, a vast mass of dark shapes appeared, like black clouds bearing down overhead. Blotting out the sky and sun, they moved rapidly toward them, but they were too distant for anyone to make out what they were!
