Dense black mist spread across the waters, shrouding the entire area like dark clouds pressing down from above and obscuring all sight.
Countless warships and graveyards formed a "city wall" hundreds of meters thick, sealing off a stretch of sea tens of thousands of miles across. What an extravagant undertaking! What a magnificent sight!
Disguised as a Corpse Witch, Jian Shang wandered around a graveyard several hundred meters across, slowly learning about this "graveyard" while he waited for the Lost City to open.
Judging by everything Jian Shang had seen along the way, this graveyard was probably the lowest-grade completed base of the United States' Undead Faction. It resembled a miniature island, wreathed in a relatively thin layer of sinister black mist. The soil was entirely dark brown, with countless gravestones standing or toppled across its uneven surface. Sparse, withered vegetation dotted the ground, along with the occasional eerie cave. It looked like a field of neglected graves. Skeletons and zombies shuffled slowly about, while spirits and ghosts drifted overhead. Corpse Witches and Bone Dragons appeared now and then, but the undead never interacted, as though they simply ignored one another. Or perhaps they did communicate, only Jian Shang, disguised as a Corpse Witch, knew nothing of it and had received no orders.
