Once construction of Penglai Immortal Island was complete, preparations for the conquest of North and South America were formally put on the agenda.
For this campaign against North and South America, the Great Huan Dynasty would rely primarily on Penglai Immortal Island, with the Heaven-Piercing Divine Ark and Jingyang Water Estate in supporting roles, supplemented by eight Emperor-Grade Warships, eighteen King Grade warships, and thirty-six ordinary Iron Colossi. No medium-sized warships or vessels of lower grades were deployed; they remained in China's Divine Land and Penglai Commandery. After all, this was a transoceanic expedition, and medium-sized warships and smaller vessels were ill-suited to crossing the ocean. Moreover, the main battlefield would be on land, making a larger fleet unnecessary.
The Heaven-Piercing Divine Ark and Jingyang Water Estate were not actually needed either. They were being brought along as a precaution because of their special nature, which made them virtually impossible to capture or sink.
As for the army, Empress Qi Ji would remain behind as before, while the other four consorts accompanied the campaign. Participating were Greedy Wolf King Jiang Yao and Princess Dieyi; Lord Xinling Wei Wuji and Martial-Extinguishing Lord Han Xin, two of the Great Huan Dynasty's Four Lords; and both State Commissioners. Of the twenty-four marquises, all would participate except Jiang Sheng, Gao Hong, Shi Jin, Cao Zhi, Li Yuan, and Wu Chen. Even Jiang Qing, Gan Ning, Zhongda, Zhao Yun, and the others were joining! There were also more than a hundred other generals, twenty Special Legions including the Great Huan Forbidden Guard, and ten million ordinary soldiers.
With such a mighty lineup, even if the dynasty had not mobilized its entire strength, it had committed seventy or eighty percent of its generals and elite troops.
During the formal preparations, the army stayed aboard the warships
