"Aislin" intermittently played along with Oliva and the Eighth Ring Mages from Sia Tower in a back-and-forth exchange of lies and nonsense.
She knew that this seemingly meaningless small talk was necessary... both sides knew perfectly well what they were talking about, but officially, neither side was supposed to know.
But she really could not be bothered.
"Aislin" was aware that, given her current identity, she ought to act a little more enthusiastic. Oliva had already glanced at her several times.
For Aislin, who had always prized her unique position in the Rute Faction and would even sabotage her junior brothers and sisters in a struggle for power, the natural thing to do was to work hard to impress Sia Tower and make them understand her importance.
Yet "Aislin" merely cast a leisurely glance at the white-robed Mage sitting diagonally opposite her, letting her gaze circle his face before quietly returning it to the floor in front of her feet... what worried her most right now was whether the flaws in her soul had escaped Glasya's notice.
She could sense the main soul at the very top of that White Tower.
And among the gazes constantly sweeping over her, she could also sense Fengo's revolting, cloying presence.

A trace of revulsion flashed through "Aislin's" eyes.
Oliva felt he could not keep this up much longer.
He could no longer even make people believe that Aislin was merely in a bad mood.
Her behavior was far too abnormal.
At this point, even turning into a different person hardly seemed like a big deal!
She was acting like a visitor from another world!
If he had not known a little of what was going on, Oliva would have suspected that Aislin had secretly
