Aislin tilted her head and looked at the nervous Rute. "I won't bring it up again."
"But, Teacher, I think it isn't that they don't know. They ignore it because they think this better fits what they have in mind... Teacher..."
Rute's eyes flickered for a few seconds before he spoke softly. "Aislin, sometimes, the future both enemies and allies want isn't necessarily a bad thing. After all, the goals may appear to be the same, but even the slightest deviation can lead to vastly different outcomes."
Aislin did not quite understand... She had always been someone who did things openly and grandly, making everything as spectacular as possible.

Aislin would never understand methods like Rute's, trying to change the outcome through tiny shifts that could not even be seen with the naked eye.
