"Then how did we get here?" Demon Sword was still confused, but he had seized on the key point. "Could it be..."
"Heh. Did you forget we died when we hit the ice? All they had to do was put that formation disk in the water," Perfect Baldhead said unhappily. "Ice made with magic doesn't last forever.
"Whatever was underneath it would have been put away long ago."
Demon Sword tilted his head. "I feel like you're bullshitting me. I just can't find any proof.
"Whatever. It's got nothing to do with me anyway. I just need to follow along."
Xue Yunfeng felt the little stone in his pocket again. "Baldhead, is Old Age still playing with them?"
"Liuliu's keeping an eye on her!" Perfect Baldhead sighed. "Old Age's definitely going to do something big in a minute. Lying wounded on that filthy floor, listening to an ugly man yap for so long... if she hadn't guessed someone else was behind him, she would have blown up ages ago."
"In this world, from the day Asmodeus set his sights on it, only sneaky old bastards were ever going to live well." Xue Yunfeng curled his lip. "Someone like Joss really is... for one thing, he can keep his cool. For another, even if some schemer notices him, they probably won't lay a hand on him.
