"Didn't..." Demon Sword had just been about to take everything on himself when his clan leader slapped him flying... sending him headfirst from the pillar straight toward the ground.
The people below seemed to have let down their guard after all that quiet time. Several of them were sent flying when Demon Sword's red bundle came crashing down on them.
Their luck was clearly terrible, and they had no intention of coordinating with one another... Demon Sword had made quite a bit of noise as he fell, and the Priests a little farther away had not completely missed the commotion overhead.
