Killing an Earth Element Archmage with two punches was wishful thinking.

Well.

It would take at least three.

And underground was Hamel's home turf. Even after two punches shattered his ribs and nearly stopped his heart, he still hadn't died.

Hamel hid inside a ball of earth as hard as enchanted metal, frantically casting Earth Element magic to trap William.

By rights,

tens of meters underground, almost no Professional of the same rank could stand against an Earth Element Archmage.

But William had a pair of fists nothing could stop.

He couldn't unleash the full power of Thunder God Body, yet every punch still struck with overwhelming force.

Whatever magic stood in his way was smashed apart in an instant.

In just three seconds,

Hamel, inside the earthen sphere, was beaten senseless. His Low-Class Elemental Body had nearly been reduced to pulp, with almost every inch of bone and flesh shattered by the impacts.

If he hadn't already formed a Low-Class Elemental Body, he would have been dead.

Yet no further blows came.

Three seconds.

Ten seconds.

Thirteen seconds.

Only then did Hamel realize the relentless assault had stopped. Reinforcements must have arrived and driven that damned Half-Elf away. But just as he relaxed—

A fist wreathed in lightning pierced the impossibly hard earthen sphere. Five swordlike fingers slipped through his chest and closed around Hamel's heart.

William felt the springy heart fit neatly in his palm, then gave it a gentle squeeze!
