Beast Tide (Part Two)

Deep in the Beast Forest of the Eastern Region, night had fallen.

Endless roars shook the sky.

The Mercenary Alliance and Dawn City, both looking to profit from the chaos, were the first to encounter the countless beasts of the tide.

They came from every direction, running on the ground and flying overhead.

But the night was too dark for many to make out the enormous Magical Beasts charging through the forest.

They could only hear the earth-shaking thunder of their footsteps, their ragged breathing, and their deafening roars.

Paul Bain froze. He had never expected the Beast-Taming City Lord to have such a move up his sleeve. Or rather...

He had never expected Kanier to be willing to take everyone down with him.

After all, the beasts inside Beast-Taming City would hardly stay calm during a Beast Tide.

The chaos caused by the Dragon two days earlier might erupt all over again.

But Paul had no other choice. He roared, "Form up! Rangers, take the center and keep your eyes on the beasts overhead! Shield Warriors, take the front and form a circle!"

"Yes, sir!" the Legion Commanders roared. All fifty thousand troops in the Vanguard were High-Class Professionals at minimum, but if they took to the sky, they would become sitting ducks.

In the Beast Forest, Flying Magical Beasts ruled the skies.

High-Class Professionals generally could not fly fast enough, and even Grandmaster Professionals would struggle to gain an advantage in the air.

No one knew how Kanier had unleashed the Beast Tide. But when its first wave appeared...
