Four Times the Fun

The assassins targeting Odom appeared just as the Dark Invasion began.

They had to admit, it was a perfect opportunity.

Odom was fighting a demon when a group of Orc assassins ambushed him. Caught completely off guard, he coughed up mouthfuls of blood as they hacked him into the ground. Who knew how many bones they had broken?

If he hadn't kept a bottle of Water of Life in his mouth and healed himself instantly, the Shadow Assassin lying in wait might have killed him with a single strike.

But Odom was still in danger.

The Lonely Mountain Squad was more scattered than ever.

Only Adolf and Legolas were on this part of the battlefield, and Epic Tier demons had both of them pinned down.

Odom faced one Epic Tier demon and six Epic Tier Orcs alone. No matter how much Water of Life he had, he couldn't hold out for long.

After all, not everyone was the Prince.

Despite being a Lightning Element Professional himself, the Prince could now go toe-to-toe with Thunder God.

Less than thirty seconds later, Odom was badly wounded again.

The Shadow Assassin hidden among the corpses saw his chance and was about to strike.

Then the most awkward thing possible happened.

Reinforcements from three Dwarf Kingdoms arrived. Four Epic Tier fighters rushed in from afar. They knew nothing of the plot; all they saw was Odom helping their people fight demons while holding off Orcs who had appeared from nowhere.

"Hang on, Dwarf brother!" one of them roared. "We're coming to save you!"

With that, three Epic Tier Dwarves charged forward and took some of the pressure off Odom.

The Orc assassins had no idea what to make of it.
