But as Sword Qi swept across the ground, it was as if a meteor had streaked through the Fishman army. Blood filled the sky, drifting in the wind.
The ground was torn open with an exaggerated scar, and a clear gash appeared in the reeds.
Every Murloc directly ahead was ripped apart by the Sword Qi, blood and bones flying everywhere.
Only a tall, burly Murloc blocked William's Sword Qi, but it too spat blood and staggered back several steps.
Yet the next moment, a valiant man wrapped in a Mana shield appeared before it.
Holy Soul Assault.
William's body switched places with the Holy Soul. The Holy Soul shot through space at high speed, and the instant his physical body returned to the Real World, he slammed his head into the enemy. The Murloc's head spun, and it staggered back several steps.
Then the glowing Short Sword stabbed down with ferocious speed, piercing through the Murloc's chest. The blade tip emerged from its back, lifting its entire body off the ground.
But the blood-red-eyed creature did not die. It clung tightly to William and bit hard into his neck. Blood gushed out as its sharp teeth tore away a chunk of flesh. This was the only way it could create an opportunity for its kin.
William ignored the pain completely. He seized the Murloc's head with a savage expression and roared as he yanked hard.
Crack.
The head separated from the body.
Green blood splattered across William's face.
