"Thank you, Edwina. This information is very valuable. I will discuss it with the other members of the Order of the Phoenix. You should also be careful during this time. Do not travel too far alone."

Dumbledore paused for a long time before giving a slight nod.

She acknowledged him. After taking two steps toward the door, she stopped and turned sideways to look back at Dumbledore. "There is one more thing, Professor Dumbledore. I noticed that the Ministry of Magic's field personnel have been reassigned very frequently recently, especially near Yorkshire Valley. The Auror Team's gatherings have been particularly conspicuous, and they closely overlap with the locations where those lunatics have appeared."

"Oh? You think both sides are pursuing the same target? What are they looking for?"

"I do not know exactly what they are looking for, but an acquaintance at the Ministry told me that recent archive room attendance records have all been concentrated in the mountains north and east of Yorkshire Valley. The southwest, on the other hand, is blank. That is not normal—either there truly has been no activity there, or whatever was there has already been cleared out in advance."

Dumbledore looked at her. "Which do you think it is?"

"I cannot say." She draped her scarf over her shoulder again. "But sometimes, the absence of records means more than the records themselves." Without waiting for a response, she pushed open the door.

The stone statue closed behind her with a dull grinding sound that traveled far down the corridor before echoing back.

She never looked back as she descended the spiral staircase. When she passed the second-floor corridor, an old wizard in a portrait woke from his nap and muttered something at her. She did not hear it clearly, nor did she stop.
