Nesting (Second Update)

Chi Li was at a loss for words. The next second, Si Jinyan pushed open the door. The overpowering pheromones that hit him in the face, along with the sight inside the bedroom, left Chi Li stunned.

In the corner directly opposite stood an extra "castle." The "castle" occupied half the bed. Chi Li frowned and examined it carefully. The "bricks" used to build the "castle" appeared to be clothing, and something silver gleamed between the layers of fabric.

Si Jinyan set Chi Li down. As Chi Li stepped closer, he saw the silver objects that drew the eye. They looked like crystals formed from some solidified substance, with wispy patterns like silk floss within them.

Chi Li's brow furrowed even tighter.

Si Jinyan extended his tail before Chi Li. Chi Li touched the mucus on Si Jinyan's tail. "Change the temperature. It sticks together. Firm."

At that, Chi Li's brow twitched. The strange feeling in his mind grew stronger and stronger. He said nothing, then finally reached out in disbelief and touched that layer.

It was soft, like cotton, but a hundred times finer than cotton. It was not cold, but warm, yet firm, like cement between bricks. The sensation was difficult to describe.

Chi Li immediately called Lu Jiu. "Come over right away."

After hanging up, Chi Li continued staring at it. The "castle" had clearly been left with a door, one that allowed entry. What he did not understand was what Si Jinyan was doing or what it meant.
