Obedient (First Update)

Drowsiness spread through the nest Si Jinyan had built, dragging Chi Li's consciousness downward.

Chi Li's eyelids felt heavy. Hearing Si Jinyan wish him good night, he still forced himself to stay awake and look at him.

The long fish tail wound around Chi Li, its tip gently patting his back from behind, coaxing him to sleep.

The fish tail seemed to carry warmth, and the entire nest was filled with a warm presence.

Soft, comfortable, safe.

That outward sense of peace reached Chi Li's heart, soothing the emotions deep within him. His breathing gradually slowed, softened, and grew lighter.

Si Jinyan leaned closer and kissed Chi Li's eyes, which were clearly exhausted yet still stubbornly refusing to close. So cute.

His lashes fluttered like wings beneath Si Jinyan's touch. Then Si Jinyan's low voice sounded beside his ear. "Sleep, Treasure. Go to sleep first. Have a good rest."
