Xia Chen's words moved the Carbink responsible for the Diamond Kingdom's contact with the outside world. After hesitating for a while, it agreed to have Pangoro bring that mysterious human over.

After putting on another convincing act, Xia Chen finally arrived at the "gate" of the Diamond Kingdom with proper justification.

"Carbink? (Are you that human? What way do you have to stop the Holy Diamond from disappearing? No, how did you know about this?)"

The tiny Carbink raised its head to look up at him, and the emotion conveyed through its sparkling eyes was far from friendly.

Although it had agreed to meet Xia Chen, it still seemed wary of this human.

"How I found out isn't important, but I do know the solution."

Xia Chen immediately seized the initiative. He liked keeping control of a conversation in his own hands, especially when the one he was negotiating with was a Pokémon.

"So, do you want it or not?"

The Carbink was no pushover either. It did not let Xia Chen get his way so easily.

"Carbink! (Wait here. I'll go call the elder!)"

Beneath its cute appearance, even its fierce tone sounded rather adorable.

Xia Chen smiled and nodded, watching the floating Carbink turn around and enter the dark cave.

More than half an hour passed. Just as Xia Chen began to think he had been stood up, two more Carbink appeared at the mouth of the rocky crevice.

The newly appeared Carbink was larger, and the snowy white fur connecting its head and body was much thicker.

Beyond that, the most striking feature was the brighter, denser diamonds on its conical body.

This was
