Background

Eevee was reborn at the Zhijiang Pokémon Breeding Base with memories of a previous life spent traveling alongside Xia Chen. Having reached Elite Four-level strength in that life, she resolves to avoid their former regrets and rise to the peak with him in her second life 2.

Her exceptional appetite, speed, athletic instincts, and intelligence make her the breeding base’s most valuable Eevee. Fearing both separation from Xia Chen and a price he cannot afford, she deliberately acts hostile and listless around prospective Trainers, then escapes by hiding in a delivery truck 2.

Using memories of Xia Chen’s neighborhood and routine, Eevee stages an injured-stray encounter to ensure he finds her. Xia Chen cautiously offers help without forcing contact, beginning their reunion 2. They become an officially registered Trainer-and-Pokémon pair in Zhijiang City soon afterward 7.

Eevee conceals the full extent of her past-life knowledge and ability from Xia Chen. She often pretends to be less capable or less informed than she is, including acting as though she has only just sensed Fairy-type energy and exaggerating her fatigue after training 9 11.

Appearance

As an Eevee, she is a small, fluffy brown Pokémon with long rabbit-like ears, creamy-white neck fur, pink paw pads, and pinkish-purple eyes 2 6 31.

After evolving, she becomes a Sylveon with a snow-white body, cherry-pink ears, tail, and lower legs, pale-blue eyes, two pink-and-white bows, and two freely floating ribbons 141.

She considers herself the household’s elder sister, clashes with Milotic over seniority, and refuses Flareon’s attempts to persuade her into becoming a Flareon 18 51 96. Beneath that confidence, she can be jealous of the attention Xia Chen gives other Pokémon and was initially resentful when newborn Ralts received most of his care 8 75.

Her past-life experience makes her calculating and capable of deception. She stages her own rescue, hides her rebirth, feigns anger to mislead opponents, and uses psychological traps in battle 2 65 97.
