The Iwagakure Shinobi camp saw the enormous Chakra reaction on Konoha's side and immediately knew the battle had begun.
"Charge!"
"Kill!!"
The Iwagakure Shinobi roared and shouted with earth-shaking force, while everyone on Konoha's side merely watched Uchiha Gen.
"Perfect!"
Uchiha Gen's body shook as he raised one hand toward the sky. Vast Chakra gathered within it, multicolored energy continuously shifting forms before condensing into a massive dark-red sphere.
"Have a taste of my handmade Tailed Beast Bomb!"
Whoosh!
The Tailed Beast Bomb shot out, crushing the ground like a road roller and tearing through the air. Seeing how destructive the giant sphere was, the Iwagakure Shinobi scattered to either side—until it reached the center...
Boom—
The instant the Tailed Beast Bomb exploded, the sky went dark! Everyone present felt as if they were trapped in a dream, their minds hazy and their ears ringing.
After the explosion, a colossal mushroom cloud rose into the air as dust that blotted out the sky swept toward them.
Uchiha Gen immediately flashed to the very front of the Konoha forces and deployed Susanoo to block the aftermath.
After an unknown amount of time, the smoke finally dispersed. The Konoha shinobi hurriedly looked toward the battlefield, only to see that not one of the thousands of Iwagakure Shinobi who had once formed a dark mass was still standing.
At the very center stood a solitary, bottomless crater.
"Oh-ho!"
Seeing the results of his handiwork, Uchiha Gen exclaimed in amazement. He spread out his senses, only to discover that even with destruction on this scale, many survivors had still escaped. It seemed that under the threat of death, people truly could unleash limitless potential.
Kagami, held in the crook of Uchiha Gen's arm, had opened his mouth wide enough to swallow a duck egg.
