At the entrance to the cave, Mark I stood beneath the sunlight, its rough iron-gray armor bearing only a few insignificant bullet marks of varying depth.
Inside it, Tony looked at the militants ahead—the ones who had haunted his thoughts day and night these past days. An emotion on the verge of bursting churned within his chest as he muttered in a low voice, "My turn!"
Then Mark I raised both arms, and two blazing orange-yellow fire serpents erupted from its hands!
But this fairly powerful flame attack was no magic. Tony was an engineer, after all, not a sorcerer.
Though there were Tony Starks in the Marvel Multiverse who had become the Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar-Taj, the one in the Lin Hai Universe clearly was not one of them.
The key to his ability to unleash this flamethrower attack lay in the rocket fuel tanks he had installed on Mark I's back. Fuel pumped through at high pressure surged along the pipes to his arms, where it met the continuously burning flames at the nozzles, creating this time-limited Tony who could fire a burst of flames from each hand.
The scorching torrent of fire swept toward the direction from which the bullets had just poured. The air warped from the heat, and scattered flammable objects nearby instantly turned to ash.
The militants' miserable screams drowned out the sporadic gunfire. As Tony advanced, figures kept twisting and collapsing against the rolling orange-red backdrop.
Those lucky enough to avoid being caught by the flames had their will to resist utterly crushed by the terrifying heatwave and the sight of their companions' suffering. No one wanted to find out what it felt like to be themselves in a fire.
Just like that, the militants' original formation crumbled beneath the licking of the
