That afternoon, Tony called again.
"Doctor Lin, I'm ready. Come over!" Tony's voice was eager over the phone. "We're waiting for you!"
"Alright, I'll be right there."
After hanging up, Lin Hai said to Gwen, "I'm heading over to Tony's place to patch up that hole in his chest."
Gwen nodded. "Want me to come with you?"
"No need. It'll be quick." Lin Hai stood up and drew a line through the air. A golden Portal opened in the middle of the living room.

When Lin Hai stepped out of the Portal, he immediately saw Tony already lying on a recliner prepared in advance.
Tony was bare-chested, the reactor in his chest giving off a faint glow. His hands were folded over his abdomen, and he immediately asked, "Are you sure you don't need any medical equipment?"
Tony continued, "You can cure me just like this? What about a lab coat? Rubber gloves? A mask? At least put on a mask, right? Isn't that standard procedure for sterile work?"
Lin Hai rolled his eyes. "Why do you have so many questions? Are we doing this or not?"
Tony immediately replied, "Yes, yes, yes! When did I say I didn't want it? But this is treatment concerning my life and death. Isn't it reasonable to be cautious?"
Lin Hai could not be bothered to answer him and walked over to the recliner.
Pepper stood nearby, clutching a towel in her hands. Her expression was both nervous and expectant. When she saw Lin Hai approach, she said, "I'm counting on you, Doctor Lin."
