When the Quinjet carrying the group landed on the Helicarrier's deck, Nick Fury, who had prepared to receive them early, was already waiting at the entrance to the island structure.

Several S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in black combat uniforms stood behind him. Every one of them was expressionless and ramrod straight, clearly elites who often handled special missions.

Fury swept his remaining eye over the enormous white caterpillar Peter carried out of the cabin, then made a brief gesture to the agents behind him. Several agents immediately stepped forward and took Loki from Peter.

"Take him to that cell."

After saying that, Fury turned and headed toward the detention area for special prisoners, and the others quickly left as well.

Loki's dedicated cell was a massive, fully enclosed circular structure. Its walls were made of some kind of transparent high-strength glass, making it look from the corridor like a giant fish tank suspended in midair.

Only after Loki was locked inside did Nick Fury walk to the control console outside the cell and begin his first official conversation with this Asgardian prisoner.

"Let's talk about your current situation, Loki. If you try to run, even if you so much as scratch the glass, you'll fall with this cage from nine thousand meters up. Is that clear?"

After saying this, Nick Fury did not wait for Loki's answer. He reached toward Loki and uttered one word: "Ant." Then he turned toward the console beside him. "Shoe."

The meaning could not have been clearer:
