Countless whispers flooded into Miles's mind. They were not sounds heard through his ears, but more direct, more primal torrents of thought.
An overwhelming amount of information washed over his fragile consciousness in an instant, leaving his mind blank. It took several seconds before he gradually adapted to the sensation.
