A piercing screech of grinding metal tore through the air as the colorful energy blade in Aurora's hand slammed heavily against Ultron's Steel Knight Lance, bursting into countless streams of multicolored data light.
In only an instant, the blade that contained part of her core power shattered inch by inch, turning into specks of light that scattered through the sky.
Screech!!
The lance's momentum did not diminish. Its tip sliced across Aurora's chest, easily tearing through her titanium alloy shell and leaving a grotesque wound deep enough to expose the inner framework. The delicate energy circuits inside crackled with dangerous arcs in the air.
Borrowing the force of the blow, Aurora shot backward. She flipped deftly in midair and opened several dozen meters of distance between herself and Ultron.
There was a vast difference between their base bodies. Ultron's body was one he had created alongside Dr. Pym, a Vibranium body, while Aurora was using only a titanium alloy nano-bionic body made by Miles himself. Integrating fragments of the Energy Prism had indeed raised this body's potential considerably, but it was still nowhere near enough to contend with Ultron, who possessed the Mind Stone.
"Your core logic is a work of art, but this shell of yours... is just scrap metal."
As Ultron spoke, light flickered across his forehead. A torrent of pure golden energy erupted forth, twisting the air everywhere it passed!

A brilliant multicolored energy shield instantly unfolded before Aurora. Yet the seemingly sturdy shield lasted only one second after touching the golden beam before it flickered violently and was completely annihilated.
At the critical moment, Aurora twisted aside. The golden pillar of energy grazed past her and blasted into distant ruins, slicing a half-collapsed building in two.
